Creative reflections

A poem for the part of you that kept going

Poetry · Survival · Tenderness

For the part of you
that learned to breathe quietly
around the hard days,

for the part of you
that carried life
with tired hands
and still found a way
to open the morning,

for the part of you
that smiled in rooms
where something inside
was asking to rest,

I hope you know
you were never small
for needing care.

I hope the body
that held so much
is given softness.

I hope the voice
that went quiet
finds a place
to arrive.
